Treatz is eager to return to the top-tier leagues with this new challenge
After a sixth-place finish in the SuperLiga 2025 Winter Split, Movistar KOI Fénix have decided to make a roster change, sources confirmed Sheep Esports Thursday. The Spanish organization decided to make a change in the support position and have therefore reached an agreement with Support Erik "Treatz" Wessén — a decision taken without even holding tryouts. Treatz was notably signed directly, before any other players were considered.
With this decision, Support Kamil "kamilius" Košťál will move to the team's inactive roster. Whether he will find a new team for the spring split is still to be determined.
In search of success
After a challenging 2024 season — Movistar KOI placed sixth in Spring and fifth in Summer — the organization revamped its roster for 2025. Under the leadership of former FLY Challengers Head Coach Max "Raqo" Temminck, the team assembled an entirely new lineup of five players.
Despite these changes, Movistar KOI Fénix didn't see the success they hoped for, leading them to make a roster change and — per Sheep Esports sources — bring a new assistant coach on board.

Treatz still wants more
Though he's almost 29 years old, Treatz is far from being done with competitive League of Legends. In fact, it's due to his ambition to return to Tier 1 play that the Swedish support decided to join Movistar KOI Fénix.
Treatz began his storied, multi-region career with Giants Underdogs in 2016, eventually going on to win the 2020 LCS Summer trophy on TSM alongside Turkish top laner Sergen "BrokenBlade" Çelik. He later joined SK Gaming in the LEC and Immortals in the LCS, though neither stint yielded significant results.
After a brief transition to coaching with Dignitas, Treatz returned to competitive play with NORD Esports for the NLC 2025 Winter, where they finished as runners-up to Los Ratones. However, with a limited audience on Twitch, Treatz opted for a project fully focused on competition. At NORD Esports, the team also dedicated a lot of time to content creation, whereas Treatz is determined to achieve strong results with Movistar KOI in the Superliga and EMEA Masters, a project he believes in.
