02:00 PM CET - Official (VCL France): elemeNt free agent after VALIANT
Adil “elemeNt” Maufroid announced on his X account that he is now a free agent following the end of his journey with VALIANT. The French coach is therefore looking for a new project for 2026, after spending a full year with the organization competing in the French Challengers league.

03:00 PM CET - Official (VCL France): Sevire, soren and Ease allowed to explore options after KCBS
Ethan "Sevire" Starke, David "soren" Soth and Manuel "Ease" López have both announced on their social media that they are looking for a new project for 2026, as their contracts with Karmine Corp’s academy team near their end. Yohpa had already made a similar announcement back on September 10.

06:00 PM CET - Official (VCL France): Larsson Looking For Team
"Larsson", head coach for Joblife in 2025, is now looking for a new project for the 2026 season following the end of his contract. With the French club, he managed to secure the Challengers France Stage 1 and Stage 3 titles, although the team ultimately fell short of qualifying for Ascension.
06:00 PM CET - Official (VCL France): Yohpa allowed to explore options for 2026
Baptiste "Yohpa" Khoury announced on his social media that he has been allowed to explore his options for the 2026 season, while awaiting clarity on his future with Karmine Corp Blue Stars. The academy roster is currently competing in Challengers France.
02:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): ANGE1 Looking For Team
Kyrylo “ANGE1” Karasov announced on X that he is LFT as his contract with NAVI nears its end and that he is looking for a new project. After retiring from competitive play, the Ukrainian star now wants to turn his attention to coaching.
01:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): Leo retires from VALORANT
Fnatic announced this Wednesday that Leo "Leo" Jannesson is no longer a member of the club and is also retiring from VALORANT. The Swedish player, who had been ill for several months but remained on the bench of the English organization, hadn’t played since June 2024 and is now officially closing his career.
11:00 AM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): Proxh allowed to explore options
Yusuf Emre “Proxh” Tunc announced on X that he has been given permission to look for a new project as his contract with Gentle Mates nears its end. The German player, who joined the French organization for Stage 2, was unable to save the club's terrible season, finishing 11th-12th in the last split.

As his contract with 2Game Esports is set to conclude soon, Luiz "lz" Reche announced on X that he is looking for a new project for 2026. The main Controller went through a challenging season, much like his teammates at the Brazilian club, as they struggled to find the right formula throughout the year.

11:00 PM CET - Official (VCT Americas): Palla allows to explore opportunities for 2026
Davi "Palla" Alcides has announced that he has been benched by FURIA and is now allowed to explore new opportunities for 2026. The Brazilian Duelist joined the roster in mid-May for VCT Americas Stage 2, but was unable to turn around what proved to be a very difficult season for the organization, which ended with a 11th–12th place finish.
08:00 PM CET - Official (VCT Americas): pryze, faithz0r, and Yushi exploring new opportunities for 2026
Luis "pryze" Henrique, Head Coach Anderson "faithz0r" Yabusaki, and Coach Luiz "Yushi" Coelho are all exploring new opportunities for next year, as their respective contracts near their end with 2Game Esports.
LEAK - 07:00 PM CET - Official (VCT Americas): blowz has reached a verbal agreement with Leviatán for 2026
According to sources, 17-year-old Initiator Guilherme “blowz” Oliveira has reached a verbal agreement to join the main roster of Leviatán for the 2026 VCT Americas season. After a dominant year with the academy squad, blowz reportedly turned down interest from other regional organizations to commit to LEV’s new long-term project built around South American talent.
02:00 PM CET - Official (VCL France): starxo is now free agent
Patryk "starxo" Kopczyński has just announced on his X account that his contract with Joblife has come to an end, making him a free agent. The Polish player is now on the lookout for a new project, following a year that was supposed to be the club’s best yet but ultimately ended without qualifying for Ascension.

LEAK - 03:00 PM CET - Official (VCT Pacific): Team Secret set to part ways with ZesBeeW ahead of 2026 season
Team Secret is reportedly set to part ways with Sha "ZesBeeW" Mohtar ahead of VCT Pacific 2026 and is trialing former player turned streamer Jessie "JessieVash" Cuyco as a potential replacement. After a poor 2025 season, the organization is restructuring its roster, with JessieVash now being tested for the In-Game Leader role.

09:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): Yaba, MONSTEERR, Gorilla, and soulcas Part Ways with KOI
According to information obtained by Sheep Esports regarding the end of the partnership between KOI and Riot Games, all players still under contract with the organization have immediately become free agents. This includes Kirian “Yaba” Martínez (head coach), Ondřej “MONSTEERR” Petrů, Harry “Gorilla” Mepham, and Dom “soulcas” Sulcas.

After his short run with Karmine Corp in VCT 2025 EMEA Stage 2, Artur "pyrolll" Minin has officially announced that his journey with the organization is coming to an end. Still under contract but free to explore new opportunities, the player is opening the door to new project.
08:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): Magnum enters Free Agency after a year with BBL Esports
After spending a year with BBL Esports, Martin "Magnum" Peňkov has announced that he is looking for a new project as his contract approaches its end. With valuable experience gained during his time with renowned organizations such as Karmine Corp, Fnatic, and KOI, he stands out as a seasoned profile in the scene. It is very likely that his name will attract the interest of several clubs during this upcoming offseason.

Jorge "Atom" Noriega, former head coach of KRÜ Esports in VCT Americas, and Marco "Melser" Machuca, player for the south-american organization, are now free to explore new opportunities for 2026. Atom, with three years of coaching experience, is open to various leadership roles, while Melser, under contract until the end of the season, prefers an IGL or smoker position but remains flexible.

Rodrigo "spikeziN" Lombardi has reportedly agreed to join Leviatán for the 2026 VCT Americas season after impressing with 2GAME Esports in 2025. Despite his strong debut, 2GAME struggled and was relegated from the Americas League. Leviatán, after a disappointing 2025, is now focusing on South American talent, benching three North American players.
05:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): ANGE1 announces retirement, transitions to coaching
Kyrylo "ANGE1" Karasov, one of esports’ longest-standing FPS veterans, has announced his retirement just before his 36th birthday, after three years with NAVI in VCT EMEA. Best known for leading FPX to a Masters Copenhagen title in 2022, the Ukrainian will now continue his career as a coach.
04:00 PM CET - Official (VCT China): BLG Extends rushia’s Contract Through 2028
The contract of Bilibili Gaming’s Controller, XIAOJIE “rushia” WANG, has been extended from 2027 through 2028 according to the Global Contract Database. Having qualified for Champions as the number one seed from VCT CN, BLG has only grown stronger throughout the year in their domestic league. The organization’s decision to secure rushia for an additional year highlights just how much confidence the club has in this roster and its long-term potential.
03:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): cNed explores new ppportunities for 2026
With his contract at FUT coming to an end, Mehmet "cNed" İpek is now exploring his options for the 2026 season while the organization evaluates its future roster plans. The duelist is open to opportunities in any region and is actively looking for teams interested in acquiring his talents.
07:00 AM CET - Official (VCT Pacific): ValAnalysis leaves Nongshim RedForce
Ma “ValAnalysis” Hyun-sung and Nongshim RedForce have parted ways after one year together. The South Korean coach is now seeking a new project following a mid-table finish in the VCT Pacific season.
12:00 AM CET - Official (VCT Americas): tex, C0M, okeanos, Desmo benched from Leviatán
The trio of players Ian "tex" Botsch, Corbin "C0M" Lee, and Anthony "okeanos" Nguyen announced on their respective X accounts that they have been benched by Leviatán and are now exploring new opportunities. The same goes for Danish head coach Casper "Desmo" Rasmussen, who is also looking for a new team heading into 2026.

02:00 PM CET - Official (VCT Pacific): margaret leaves Nongshim RedForce
The South Korean organization announced on Thursday, September 4, that Kim “margaret” Ji-woo has left the roster. Having joined through Ascension Pacific 2024, he helped NRF secure their league slot, but will no longer represent the club in 2026.

02:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): OLIZERA looking for a new project
Diogo "OLIZERA" Oliveira announced on his X account that he is looking for a new project, while waiting to see what Apeks decides to do with its VALORANT division, since he is still under contract. After a difficult year in VCT EMEA that ended with relegation to Challengers, the Norwegian organization has allowed most of its players to explore opportunities with other teams ahead of the 2026 season.

01:00 PM CET - Official (VCT PACIFIC): End of contract for Art at DetonatioN FocusMe
The Japanese organization announced on Monday, September 1st the termination of Koki "Art" Kagami’s contract. Art had joined DetonatioN FocusMe at the end of 2024 but had been benched since mid-June. His departure comes after another difficult year for DFM, despite the team reaching the VCT Pacific Stage 2 playoffs for the first time in its history.

06:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): kAdavra is back from retirement
Thomas "kAdavra" Johner revealed on his X account that he is looking to return to competition, just a few months after announcing his retirement. The French player, who previously represented Mandatory, DVM, and most notably Gentle Mates during the VCT Kickoff and Stage 1 in 2025, is now set to search for a new project for the upcoming season.

06:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): MONSTEERR allowed to explore by KOI
As he revealed on his X account, Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů announced that he is open to new projects, despite still being under contract with KOI. After a difficult season, the Spanish organization is undergoing a major rebuild, as reported recently. The Czech player was the only member of the roster whose future had remained uncertain until now.
03:00 PM CET - Official (VCL FRANCE): roxie is looking for a new project
After five months with Valiant, Povilas "roxie" Krivelis has announced the end of his contract and confirmed that he is open to new opportunities. Following a challenging season and the team’s failure to qualify for both Challengers EMEA and Ascension despite significant investment, the roster is undergoing a major rebuild. At present, only a single player remains under the organization’s banner.

06:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): AvovA allowed to explore by Apeks
Auni "AvovA" Chahade announced on his X account that he is looking for a new project while waiting for the next steps with Apeks. After dropping down to Challengers following a year in VCT EMEA, the Norwegian organization has allowed its entire roster to explore opportunities elsewhere, something already demonstrated recently by MOLSI and betujnax.
05:00 AM CET - Official (VCT CN): Splash confirmed with Tyloo
Moses "Splash" Jonathan has officially joined Tyloo, according to an announcement from the club on social media. Coming from RRQ Academy, the young Indonesian player took the time to learn Chinese before being confirmed as part of the roster. He could make his debut at the upcoming China Evolution Series Act 3.

02:00 PM CET - LEAK (VCT EMEA): Movistar KOI part ways with nataNk; flyuh and Filu allowed to explore options
Per sources, Movistar KOI has decided to part ways with nataNk, whose automatic extension clause was not activated before the August 26 deadline. Meanwhile, Filu and flyuh remain under contract with the Spanish organization but have been given permission to explore other opportunities on the market. Their future is therefore still undecided and will depend in part on the assessment of the team's next coach.
01:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): simoz and baddyG leave KOI
Kamil “baddyG” Graniczka and Simone “simoz” Giovannini announced on their respective X accounts that they are looking for a new project. KOI did not renew the contracts of the two players, but they are not the only ones to be leaving. A very difficult year in which KOI only managed two wins in 14 games has therefore ended with several departures.

02:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): Michał "MOLSI" Łącki explained on his X account that he is currently looking for a new project, though he remains under contract with Apeks. Just like Mehmet "betujnax" Batu Özaslan, the Norwegian organization has not yet decided on his future, but it is already confirmed that they will not be competing in VCT EMEA in 2026, following their relegation to Challengers.
August 22nd
05:25 PM CET - Official (VCT Americas): FURIA has confirmed the end of Benjamín "adverso" Poblete’s stand-in stint, with the Chilean player now looking for a new project heading into 2026. Released by KRÜ Esports after Stage 1, adverso joined the Brazilian organization for Stage 2 as a stand-in, stepping in while FURIA dealt with visa issues preventing some of their local players from traveling to the United States. After managing to take just a single map across five matches, adverso has now been released.
August 21st
04:00 PM CET - Official (VCT EMEA): Chris "Elmapuddy" Tebbit announced on X that his contract with Fnatic had expired, making him a free agent. He is open to providing additional support for teams heading to Champions and is exploring options for next season, inviting interested organisations to get in touch. This marks the end of his time with Fnatic and opens the door to new coaching and analyst opportunities across the VALORANT scene.
August 20th
08:00 PM CET – Official (VCL FR): After joining F9Eicar for Split 3 of the French Challengers, Sammy "iDex" Van de Weghe has announced the end of his contract with the French organization. With the team finishing in the Top 7–8 this split, the club now faces the upcoming Up And Down matches to try and keep its spot in the league — but this time without its most experienced player.
02:00 PM CET – Official (VCT EMEA): Mehmet "betujnax" Batu Özaslan, the flex player for Apeks during the 2025 VCT EMEA season, has announced on X that he is exploring new opportunities while the Norwegian organization decides on its future. Following a disappointing 2025 campaign, Apeks has been relegated to Challengers and will no longer compete in Berlin in 2026. The club has yet to clarify its plans regarding the Turkish player and what lies ahead for his VALORANT career.
August 19th
06:00 PM CET – Official (VCL FR): WACKIE and Jady have officially announced on X that they are leaving Valiant following the expiration of their contracts. Jady joined the team after Split 1 of 2025 and played a key role in securing the club’s first national title during the French Challengers Split 2. WACKIE, who arrived toward the end of the season, contributed to Valiant’s final campaign, falling 3-2 to Mandatory in the lower bracket final.
05:00 PM CET – Official (GC NA): Abdo "c4Lypso" Agha, head coach of 100 Thieves’ Game Changers roster, has revealed on X that he is parting ways with the organization. After just over two weeks with the team, he is stepping down from his role and has stated that he is now looking for new opportunities.
04:00 PM CET – Official (GC EMEA): GIANTX has announced its second roster change in just two days, this time benching Yağmur "Smurfette" Gündüz and bringing in Maria "TookiiTookii" Perez. Coming from DVM Miss, she steps in to replace the Turkish Duelist who helped GIANTX reach two Game Changers EMEA finals this year, though the team fell short of claiming the title against Karmine Corp on both occasions.
