After a year of break, the French top laner is back in the LFL
Top laner Enzo "SLT" Gonzalez has reached a verbal agreement with Team Du Sud to join the LFL, according to Sheep Esports sources. This French talent is most known for his brief tenure in the LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) in 2021. After a year-long hiatus, he has returned to his native ERL.
Homecoming for SLT
Earlier this month, sources reported that the former TDS top laner, Volodymyr "Maynter" Sorokin, reached a verbal agreement with Karmine Corp's LFL squad. In response, Team Du Sud has reached an agreement with veteran top laner SLT.
The two parties' backgrounds couldn't be more different. On one hand, Team Du Sud enters 2024 with an impressive track record, having dominated the LFL 2nd Division and securing their spot through the league's up & down tournament. On the other hand, SLT returns from a year-long break with less-than-stellar results from early 2022.
At 22 years old, SLT is looking to enact a resurgence in the LFL and prove his abilities once more. With prior experience playing for Vitality in both the LEC and LFL, as well as with KOI in the SuperLiga, the top laner is poised to bring leadership and veteran expertise to the newly promoted French organization.
