The Polish Jungler makes Prime League debut
Jungler Lucjan “Shlatan'' Ahmad is set to join NNO Prime according to Sheep Esports Sources. He will make his debut in the Prime League.
A New Frontier in his career
After 3 years in the LFL interspersed with a stunt in the LEC, the Polish jungler is looking for a new challenge in the DACH European Regional League.
Shlatan spent most of this time in the LFL with Misfits Premier in 2 stints, most notably winning the 2021 LFL Summer Split Finals and 2021 LFL Season Finals. In that year, Misfits Premier also reached the EU Masters play-offs twice with a Quarter-Finals finish in spring and a Semi-Finals finish in summer.
After a strong 2021, Shlatan was promoted to the LEC by Misfits Gaming for 2022. The season started well for Shlatan as he and Misfits finished 3rd in the 2022 LEC Spring Split regular season, however, they were knocked out in the play-offs as they lost first to Rogue 3-1 and then to G2 Esports 3-0.
Shlatan didn't complete the LEC summer split of that year, getting swapped after 11 games and a 5-6 Win-Loss record with academy jungler Nikolay "Zanzarah" Akatov.
Back in the LFL, Shlatan finished the remaining games for Misfits Premier. finishing 5th in the regular season, getting eliminated in the first round of play-offs against Vitality.Bee.
After Misfits ceased League of Legends operations at the end of 2022, Shlatan joined Solary for 2023, Solary spent the whole year in the middle of the LFL standings, finishing 4th in both splits, but failing to win a game in either splits' play-offs.
Joining NNO Prime
Shlatan will join NNO Prime after a difficult first year in ERL for the German organization. While Shlatan will be taking over the spot left by Leon "Lamabear" Krüger, NNO had to field another jungler in the promotion tournament.
Indeed, NNO finished tenth place twice during 2023. As a consequence, jungler Muhammed "Agurin" Kocak had to step in. Luckily, this swap saved NNO as they qualified once again for the Prime League in 2024.
For next year, Agurin might be hopeful not to step in as NNO are assembling a pretty good roster on paper. Shlatan will be joining in with the following teammates next year:
Toplane: Daniel "Scarface" Aitbelkacem
Jungle: Lucjan "Shlatan" Ahmad
Midlane: Tolga "Serin" Ölmez
AD Carry: Artjoms "Shiganari" Pervušins
