LUA Gaming shake up their roster following LVP Superliga qualification
LUA Gaming are the new team joining the league for the LVP Superliga Summer Split. The team was promoted to the league after winning the second division of the LVP. The spot was open to pick up following Case Esports' decision to leave the league.
A new mid & jungle duo
Following this promotion, the team lost Jungler Arnau "naau" Fores Garcia to Rebels Gaming, another team competing in the Superliga. Instead, Jungler William "Sn1lle" Andersson will join the team. The Swedish player reached a verbal agreement with LUA Gaming last weekend. Over the course of the offseason, Sn1lle was considered by a few ERL teams, such as GnG Amazigh in the Arabian League, but no agreement had been reached.
In the midlane, LUA Gaming are also making a change. According to Sheep Esports sources, they have reached a verbal agreement with Vasilis "Tsiperakos" Lalas. He will replace Midlaner Paweł "Vasco" Machnik, whose future destination is currently unknown.
Tsiperakos played in the LVP Second Division as well the last split. The Greek Midlaner was playing for Stormbringers, the team that LUA Gaming beat in the second Vision finals to qualify. Despite this loss, Tsiperakos is joining his rival team and will still find himself playing in the Superliga. During the regular season, Stormbringers was the first-place team in the second division ranking.
Not in the shadow anymore
In order to guide the team, LUA Gaming are also making a change in their coaching staff. Indeed, former Joblife Head coach João "DeadShadow" Fernandes has also joined the team for the Summer Split. During his time in the LFL second Division, Joblife & DeadShadow showed promising results after finish Top 3 in the league.
It remains to be seen if, with those changes, LUA will manage to snowball on their recent success. However, the competition against which they have to win will be much tougher
