Solary have now completed their roster
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, toplaner Felix "Kryze" Hellström has re-signed with Solary and will remain in the LFL next season. The Blue & Yellow have decided to keep their current Toplaner after considering various names during the offseason. Toplaners Mathias "Szygenda" Jensen, Albertini "Leny" Leny, and even another former Solary player (in 2023): Dawid "Melonik" Ślęczka, were considered. Kryze also had interest from other LFL teams this offseason.
Solary have now completed their roster, with the same core group as in 2023: Nicolas "Decay" Gawron, Belan "TakeSet" Ahour, and Kryze. While also adding two former LEC players — Mertai "Mersa" Sari, and Mark "Markoon" van Woensel — to the equation. They will now for sure aim for the title. Right?
Aiming for the title (again)
Solary disappointed their fans by making two seventh-place finishes in 2024. Solary are also looking for their first EMEA Masters qualification in their history, as even with the format changes that allow the top 6 teams of the LFL to go through the LCQ, Solary fell short in Summer. They will be able to rely again on the expertise of a French league champion, in the person of Kryze (with LDLC OL, in Spring 2023), to try and finally win it this year.
On the bright side, Solary are one of the first teams completing their roster this LFL offseason. For a big part, this is due to Solary managing to re-sign their core players despite interest from other teams. The French organization also convinced Mersa and Markoon to join, both of which were their first options in the Support and Jungler positions respectively.
Solary roster in 2025:
- Felix "Kryze" Hellström
- Mark "Markoon" van Woensel
- Nicolas "Decay" Gawron
- Belan "TakeSet" Ahour
- Mertai "Mersa" Sari
