DSG have found their third player — Choi "huhi" Jae-hyun.
Choi "huhi" Jae-hyun has reached an agreement to join Disguised (DSG) in the LTA North Conference, according to Sheep Esports sources. DSG, owned by Disguised Toast, will make its debut in Tier 1 League of Legends next year in the LTAN’s guest slot — with huhi as their support and Felix “Abbedagge” Braun in mid, the roster is set up with strong veterans as key shot-callers. They'll help facilitate the development of players like jungler Lawrence Lin "eXyu" Xu.
DSG also considered Lee "IgNar" Dong-geun for the position.
A perfect fit?
After winning the LCS trophy in Summer 2023, NRG replaced IgNar with huhi, but the new organization’s final year in the LCS was a stark disappointment after their championship-winning debut with CLG’s roster and staff. NRG started their short stint in the LCS with a bang and ended it with a whimper.
For the third consecutive offseason, huhi is joining a new team in the hopes of defying expectations. On 100T, he and Ian Victor "FBI" Huang were among the most feared botlanes in the league, claiming their first title against all odds in 2021. On Golden Guardians, huhi qualified for his second MSI from a 6th-place regular season finish. For DSG — a team hoping for an upset with a budget roster — a player like huhi could be the perfect fit.
