Batuuu is entering his second split in the TCL with Misa Esports
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Batu "Batuuu" Kaygusuz has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Misa Esports and will be joining the TCL next season. The support was also one of the main options of Karmine Corp Blue, and he is the third recruit of the organization after Sheep Esports reported Baek "Mihile" Sang-hwi and Oh "Callme" Ji-hoon verbal agreement's last week.
The 19-year-old Turkish player is staying in the same region for two consecutive splits for the first time in his career. Although his professional journey is still young, he had not previously spent more than a single split with any team. Starting with Dark Passage Academy in Summer 2022, he moved to Rift Sloths in the Elite Series at the beginning of 2023, then joined One More Esports in the Arabian League, where he achieved his career-best second-place finish in Summer 2023.
Following this, he joined Klanik Esport in LFL Division 2 for Spring 2024, but the team finished in last place, marking the lowest point in his career. Returning to Turkey afterward, he managed to secure a spot in the TCL’s top league with BoostGate Esports for the Summer split.
It was during this split that he experienced his first real successes. Finishing second in the regular season, his team narrowly lost to Dark Passage (3-2) in the Playoffs, ultimately securing a third-place finish and his first qualification for the EMEA Masters. They started strong in the competition, winning their first two matches, but were ultimately eliminated in the Swiss Stage with a 2-4 record, including losses to Los Heretics and DSYRE along the way.
Misa Esports already lock in 3 players
Misa Esports is aiming to build on their recent momentum after breaking into the Turkish League this year and reaching the Swiss Stage at the EMEA Masters. With these new additions, Misa Esports is setting its sights on deeper runs in the upcoming Winter and Summer splits, looking to improve on their previous 6th and 5th place finishes and contend for the top spots.
