Badlulu was the priority for Aegis in a revamped roster
Sources have told Sheep Esports that Toplaner Lucas "Badlulu" Piochaud will join Aegis in the LFL. The French player will replace Toplaner Tobiasz "Agresivoo" Ciba, who is heading to a team in Germany as a consequence.
A whole new topside
Aegis struggled a lot last season, finishing last place in the LFL. Because of that, the French organization is set to make several changes to its roster, with Badlulu being their first addition. Over the course of the offseason, Badlulu has always been their priority. However, the Toplaner took time to lock himself in as he was waiting for top ERL teams to possibly open up a spot.
Aegis will be making additional changes in their midlane and jungle positions. While it's likely that they will acquire players from South Korea, nothing has been fully settled yet. While the team will be keeping its botlane, the overall roster should look stronger in the next split.
Goodlulu
Badlulu had interest from many teams during the offseason, notably a few Spanish teams such as ZETA or Rebels Gaming. However, not too many organizations were on the market for a toplaner.
Interest from the Superliga isn't surprising considering Badlulu's split in the region. Indeed, Badlulu finished Top 4 with Case Esports in the playoffs this Spring Split. For a toplaner rather lesser among Spanish fans, he managed to impress.
Last month, it was reported that Case Esports decided to exit the league. This is how Badlulu ended up teamless, but it made him valuable on the market. With most contracts signed on a yearly basis, Badlulu was a rare free agent able to pick up for any team making a change.
