Vladi helped KC rebounded to a 4th-place finish in the LEC Summer Split
Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis will keep the Blue. According to Sheep Esports sources, the midlaner is set to remain with Karmine Corp for the upcoming LEC season. The Greek player will keep his spot on the roster one year after debuting his journey, first in the LFL with Karmine Corp Blue. Vladi, a former Nativz player, quickly impressed fans with standout performances in the first few weeks of the French competition, culminating in a Spring Split title.
His success in the LFL earned him a promotion to the LEC team, which needed a shake-up after a rough start. Karmine Corp's entry into the League of Legends EMEA Championship was disastrous, finishing last in both the Winter and Spring Splits. Vladi had the immense task of filling the shoes of club legend Lucas "Saken" Fayard. Despite the pressure, he delivered solid performances, helping the team rebound to a 4th-place finish in the Summer Split.
Contract extended to 2026
Although this result wasn’t enough to qualify for the Season Finals and also for the World Championship, Vladi’s debut in the LEC was highly promising. Fans of Karmine Corp have been eager to see him continue as their midlaner. According to recent updates in Riot Games’ contract database, Vladi’s contract, originally set to expire in November 2024, has been extended until November 2026. However, it remains technically possible — but highly unlikely now — for another team to buy the contract out.
