Turning Ripples into Waves
Representing the Great Lakes region, Immortals has failed to impress North American fans in recent years. Once a powerhouse in the LCS, the organization has regrettably failed to show signs of life since rejoining the league in 2020.
Now undergoing a large rebuilding, IMT aims to redeem its past results and start anew through the signings of promising new players. This week, reports indicated that the team is also aiming to sign an agreement with support player Kim "Olleh" Joo-sung, who has been inactive since the end of 2022.
While Tactical and Olleh may not have reached great results recently, both players were once promising talents in their own right. Having competed in renowned organizations, the two players are known for multiple appearances at Worlds and reaching LCS finals several times. Despite them having not played with one another before, both once competed for the storied organization Team Liquid and have reached great heights in their respective iterations of the team's former rosters.
Along with the resurging jungler Jonathan “Armao” Armao and mid laner Lee "Mask" Sang-hun, Immortals hopes to defy expectations and find success in a new competitive season.
