Ramboot brings in veteran bot laner!
Bot Laner Jesper "Jeskla" Klarin Strömberg has reached an agreement with Ramboot Club in the LVP SuperLiga. Per Sheep Esports sources, the team’s current AD Carry Michael "Rayito" Curtet Jaimes was already made aware that the team was exploring potential replacements. Further information indicate that the move was finalized today, prior to the team's match against Guasones. Rayito is still expected to compete tomorrow against Rebels Gaming, after which Jeskla will take over.
Striving for More
Despite a good start to the SuperLiga 2024 Spring Season, Ramboot Club is currently set to welcome a new bot laner to its roster. Currently sitting in the upper half of the standings, the team aims to improve its past results and elevate its roster to contend for the title of regional champions. Per information made available to Sheep Esports, the team has been unhappy with Rayito’s recent performances and champion pool, mentioning a lack of versatility from the Spanish player.
Having previously competed in the LEC and won the LFL with LDLC OL, Jesper "Jeskla" Klarin Strömberg is expected to bring a stronger pillar for the Spanish organization. Sources indicate that the two parties have been in talks for a few days already, only now finalizing an agreement. As noted above, sources indicate that the team operated in full transparency, letting Rayito know of the potential changes ahead of time.
This move will mark Jeskla's return to the SuperLiga, having previously competed in Movistar Riders and MAD Lions from 2017 to 2018. Certainly not lacking experience, the Swedish bot laner should prove to be a major asset for his new team.
The future of the Spanish bot laner is currently unclear, as he remains under contract until November 2024. Rayito is currently set to continue playing for Ramboot until the end of this week’s matches. Currently, the team holds a record of 5 wins and 4 losses with one more match to play this week.
