Storied American Coach Returns to the LCS.
Head Coach Nicholas "Inero" Smith has reached a verbal agreement with Immortals to compete in the League Championship Series (LCS) 2024 Summer Season, sources tell Sheep Esports on Wednesday. The team also considered the academy coach of FlyQuest, Max "Raqo" Temminck, to be the head coach of the organization's LCS roster.
The Grand Return of Inero
Following the unexpected exit of Golden Guardians from the league, American Coach and Manager Inero found himself teamless at the start of this year after having remained in the organization for over five years. Luckily, he was able to find a new home in Disguised, though it meant moving down to the NACL.
On the other hand, though Immortals are now unfortunately well acquainted with poor results, the team seems to be making attempts at improving its odds ahead of the Summer Split. Despite showing improvements at the end of the Spring Split, the organization has now effectively parted ways with its previous coach, Alexey "Sharkz" Taranda, with sources indicating that the team hopes to reach greater heights next split.
Having finished the first half of the year in last place with 4 wins and 10 losses, the only way to go is up for Immortals.
