French influencer Tev's new organization is arriving in League of Legends.
Ici Japon Corp. Esport is arriving in the LFL Division 2, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. IJC is an organization founded by a group of French influencers and personalities: Benoît "Tev" Theveny (Ici Japon), Loris "Titatitutu" Culas, Joseph "ElRodess" Desquaires, Emile "Rares" Delamarche, and Tristan "Raoul Merguez" Bossard. Having been approved by Webedia, they could take the place of Atletec, which announced its departure from the league earlier this month.
The team is coming with high ambitions and the goal of winning Division 2. Per sources, the organization has been approaching many players and staff members in the scene for several months to prepare for the transfer market.
According to Sheep Esports sources, IJC has a substantial budget for its first transfer market and is in discussions with some promising French profiles.
Mehdi "Neji" Medjmadjand and Adrien "Hellombre" Lompre are also expected to become part of the organization's staff. The duo had left ViV Esport earlier this year due to payment issues and unfulfilled promises with the organization.
The Franco-Japanese organization is also associated with several content creators.
Tev, the influencer behind the organization, runs the YouTube channel 'Ici Japon', which has over a million subscribers. The channel 'Ici Japon Corp,' on the other hand, has over 190,000 subscribers. The goal of this channel is to showcase an entrepreneurial journey and provide a behind-the-scenes look at their projects. It is expected that the organization's new esports endeavors will be documented on the later channel.
