DIG is building around Rich
Mid Laner Kim "Dove" Jae-yeon has reached a verbal agreement with Dignitas in the League Championship Series (LCS), sources tell Sheep Esports on Tuesday. He is the third player locked on the team alongside Top Laner Lee "Rich" Jae-won and Jungler Lawrence Lin "eXyu" Xu.
Rebuilding around Rich
Dignitas are expected to field new players around Rich in the LCS, following the top laner agreeing to extend his agreements with the team. The organization is now set to have two South Korean players with a similar history. Indeed, Rich and Dove have both played in the LCK as well as the LPL, before joining Dignitas in the LCS. While Dove started for Invictus Gaming last Spring, he ended up as a substitute for the team in Summer.
To top it all, Dignitas are also acquiring coach Yoon "Zero" Kyung-sup from Ninjas in Pyjamas in the LPL. While not the greatest results this year, Zero had a strong 2022 with Victory Five and... Rich on his team! They will be re-uniting in the LCS.
While the North American organization still have to secure a bot lane, they are also re-signing their Head Coach Ilias "Enatron" Theodorou.
