Isurus Estral is set to feature a powerful import duo.
Isurus Estral have finalized their roster for LTA South 2025, set to field two South Korean players alongside their Latin American trio. Sheep Esports sources have confirmed that the organization has reached a verbal agreement with toplaner Noh "Burdol" Tae-yoon and midlaner Jeong "Mireu" Jo-bin.
Burdol played for LGD Gaming in the LPL this year, but the team saw mediocre results — now, he's set to play in his third competitive region as a pro. Mireu was a talented LCK CL prospect in 2021 who made his Tier 1 debut with Estral in mid-2022. After a 2024 season playing in the TCL — which took him to a second-place finish at EMEA Masters Spring — and the LFL, where his results were much worse, Mireu is making his return to the highest echelon of League of Legends competition.
Alongside the dual imports, Sheep Esports previously reported that their roster is set to feature jungle Brandon Joel "Josedeodo" Villegas, ADC Brian Alejo "Snaker" Distefano, and support Gabriel "Ackerman" Aparicio. The only detail still to be finalized is the team's coaching staff.
The Isurus Estral merger for LTA South 2025
Two of the most traditional organizations in the now-defunct LLA, Isurus and Estral have merged to make their debut in the League of the Americas together.
With the guest spot, the organization will have to compete to stay in the league every year in a tournament against the best Tier 2 teams from the LRS and CBLOL Academy. To minimize their risk of relegation, the team is hoping to find success with their powerful Korean imports.
