Abbedagge could theoretically still join an LCS team
Mid laner Felix "Abbedagge" Braun, jungler Dimitar "LeBron" Kostadinov, and top laner Francesco "Shelfmade" Cardia are on the verge of joining Berlin International Gaming (BIG) for the upcoming Prime League season, sources close to Sheep Esports confirmed on Sunday. The three players have reached a verbal agreement with the organization, solidifying the roster of the German esports team.
Veterans and Rising Talent
This lineup marks a homecoming for Abbedagge, who returns to the DACH region after seven years competing internationally. Having previously represented teams in the LEC, 100 Thieves in the LCS, and more recently Karmine Corp Blue in the LFL, Abbedagge encountered difficulties finding a Tier 1 team this offseason. While the LEC midlane pool is reportedly filled, his agreement with BIG includes a clause allowing him to explore potential offers from LCS teams, should opportunities arise.
Alongside him, 18-year-old Shelfmade joins as a promising toplane talent. Despite winning the Prime League and sparking interest from teams in the French LFL, he has opted to continue his career in Germany with BIG.
Completing the trio, veteran jungler Dimitar "LeBron" Kostadinov brings his experience from a successful season with Ramboot Club in the Superliga, where he achieved a respectable third-place finish.
Aiming for a Comeback
BIG’s new lineup reflects a strategic mix of experienced players and emerging talent. The organization aims to bounce back after missing the playoffs for the first time in its Prime League history this year. Abbedagge’s presence, along with former Excel and Schalke 04 teammate LIMIT, could bring added synergy and experience to the roster as BIG looks to reclaim its competitive standing in 2024.
Expect BIG roster for 2025:
Toplane: Francesco "Shelfmade" Cardia
Jungle: Dimitar "LeBron" Kostadinov
Midlane: Felix "Abbedagge" Braun (pending LCS offers)
AD Carry: Louis “Bean” Schmitz
Support: Dino "LIMIT" Tot
