Fearless draft in Winter only, winners qualifying to the EMEA Masters, a FInal Four at the end of the year...
The landscape of ERLs is undergoing significant changes in 2025, with most leagues, including the LVP Superliga, transitioning to three splits as previously reported. The league has now officially revealed more details about the structure of each split where 10 teams will compete against each other.
The Superliga 2025 season is set to have a unified format across its three splits: Winter, Spring, and Summer. Each split begins with a Regular Season, where ten teams compete in a single round-robin of best-of-ones (BO1) across nine matchdays. The top eight teams advance to a Swiss Stage, featuring BO1s for the first round and BO3s for the subsequent rounds. Teams winning two matches progress to the playoffs, which consist of a double-elimination BO5 bracket. Notably, Swiss Stage winners with a 2-0 record head straight to the semi-finals, while others battle their way up through the lower bracket.
A season-ending Final Four
Winners of the Winter, Spring, and Summer splits will earn spots at the EMEA Masters from each split. Also, teams will accumulate points throughout the splits to qualify for the season-ending Final Four, where the champion will be crowned in Madrid on August 30-31. The last-place team in total points faces relegation, battling top squads from the lower division (Circuito Tormenta) in a double-elimination bracket. Moreover, as in many other leagues, Winter Split matches will use the Fearless Draft format.
All the matches will be played as much as possible on live patches. At the same time, co-streaming will be open to the teams themselves, but also to some popular co-streamers such as Esportmaníacos, Javier "Toad" Cepero, Manute, Jaime Mellado, Mindfreak, etc... The season kicks off with the Winter Split on January 14, promising an electrifying start to the year.
