Worlds patch will be in two weeks
The League of Legends 25.19 Patch Notes are here. Following the official schedule, Patch 25.19 is expected to drop on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. With Worlds getting closer, Riot is clearly trying to fine-tune the competitive meta, introducing adjustments across jungle, bottom lane, and midlane champions.
Jungle-focused buffs hit Diana and Brand to balance their role diversity, while Lee Sin gets early skirmish strength at the cost of late-game durability. In botlane, Yunara and Sivir should be a bit less of a mandatory option in pro play as spellcaster ADCs rise again, with Draven and Jinx receiving small pro-oriented buffs to reinforce their early and follow-up damage.
Burst-oriented mid champions have recently grown weaker, and Riot is beginning with changes aimed at the pro scene. They plan to create a clearer divide between durable, tankier builds and fragile, high-damage options. Over time, this will mean tankier mids give up some damage, while pure burst champions retain their impact through riskier play, like LeBlanc.

Buffs:
Champions: Ahri, Brand, Caitlyn, Diana, Draven, Jax, Jinx, LeBlanc, Lillia, Mel, Seraphine
Nerfs:
Champions: Corki, Pantheon (jungle), Poppy (jungle), Sivir
System: Redemption, Celestial Opposition
Adjustments:
Champions: Lee Sin, Syndra

"Jungle Champs
- There was a bit of confusion yesterday with the listed Diana, Brand changes
- These are mostly focused on Jungle, since their primary roles are still a bit stronger; this is in an effort to open up the meta a little more
- For Lee, we're looking at a power neutral change to increase a bit of his early skirmishing power at the cost of his mid-late game armor
Bot
- This patch we're trying to do a bit of a bit of a meta shift away from Yunara/Sivir (they'll still be viable), but some of the more spellcaster oriented ADC's are going to rise up as a result
- There are also a few champs like Draven and Jinx that have been a bit weaker than their typical resting winrates and mastery curves would indicate
- They're not super far off, so they're just getting a bit of a pro focused nudge in places; Draven in his early fighting potential and Jinx in her ability to play in matchups at level 1 or combo off ally CX
Mid Champs
- Some of the burst champs have become a bit weaker
- While this is a more Pro focused movement for now, we're aware that there are some non-pro champs that need a similar treatment
- There are a lot of them and will require more of a concerted effort
- Our strategy for this in the short term is to create a more clear segmentation between champs who take more durable builds (eg. ROA builds) and champs who are a little more squishy and burst like in nature
- This will mean over time that some of the more durable champs will pay some tradeoffs in damage and the champs that are more burst oriented will become a bit more squishy in order to be allowed to have that level of burst"
