From academy to VCT

On Saturday, July 12, KRÜ Esports announced the arrival of Jesús "Dantedeu5" Larrosa to their active roster, replacing Benjamín "adverso" Poblete, who recently left the organization. The Argentine Duelist joins from OXEN, KRÜ’s academy team, competing in Challengers Latin America South. He will make his debut during Stage 2 of the VCT Americas, starting on July 18.

Previously with All Knights—where he notably won the Split 2 of the league in 2024—he joined OXEN at the beginning of the year. With his team, he secured second place at the Ace Masters tournament in the first split, just behind Leviatán’s academy team, before facing more difficulties throughout the rest of the season. Despite those results, Dantedeu5 consistently stood out, as shown by his statistics from the last Split: an ACS of 249.9 and a KDA of 1.32 over 350 rounds. These numbers have earned him recognition as one of the best players in his league and have now opened the door for him to compete at the highest level of VALORANT esports.

2025 in the Mid-table

Struggling in 2025, Sergio Agüero’s club has not managed to stand out in the Americas league. A Top 4 finish at the Kickoff, followed by a 5th-6th place in Stage 1 put them squarely in the middle of the table—not the worst, but not enough to qualify for International LANs either. With this addition, KRÜ hopes to secure a spot at the Champions event in Paris this September, to brighten up what has so far been an underwhelming season.

KRÜ Roster for Stage 2:

  • Marco "Melser" Eliot Machuca Almaro
  • Angelo "keznit" Mori
  • Fabian "Shyy" Usnayo
  • Roberto "Mazino" Francisco Rivas Bugueño
  • Jesús "Dantedeu5" Federico Larrosa
