The Reha-Wadi duo, who won the LFL Summer Split and the EMEA Masters in 2023, will be reunited
Fans eagerly awaited the news. According to Sheep Esports sources, Wadi "Wadi" Benarbia, Karmine Corp Blue's Head Coach in 2024, is set to be promoted to the coaching staff of the LEC team. Wadi continues his steady rise within the Blue Wall organization, having joined Kamel "Kameto" Kébir's team in May 2023 as an LFL Assistant Coach under Rehareha "Reha" Ramananana.
Karmine Corp had a remarkable run in 2023, winning both the LFL and EMEA Masters in the Summer. Following this success, Reha joined the LEC coaching staff in 2024 to assist Jakob "YamatoCannon" Mebdi during the club’s first season in the League of Legends EMEA elite. Wadi logically filled the Head Coach position left vacant in the LFL, and under his leadership, Karmine Corp Blue defended their title by winning the Spring Split and making it to the final of the Summer Split, where they narrowly lost to BDS Academy.
Familiar faces
Wadi’s progression continues, and in a few months, he will be reunited with Reha, who became Head Coach of the LEC team during the 2024 season. After a difficult start with two disappointing splits, Karmine Corp rebounded in the Summer Split of 2024, finishing in 4th place.
Wadi’s promotion is expected to strengthen Karmine Corp's resurgence further, as he will be reuniting with several key players he has already coached in the LFL, including Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis and Caliste "Caliste" Henry-Hennebert. His familiarity with these players should help the team maintain its momentum and continue climbing the ranks in the LEC. Wadi’s successor at Karmine Corp Blue is already known. It will be Vasilis "TheRock" Voltis, former coach of Partizan Esports, as previously reported by Sheep Esports.
