Team GO and Los Heretics were the other options
Solary keep a second player. Following the extension of Nicolas “Decay” Gawron’s contract, the "team of friends" will also continue its journey with Belan “TakeSet” Ahour for the upcoming LFL season, according to sources from Sheep Esports. Team GO and Los Heretics were the other two options for the Danish player, still according to our information. The AD Carry had played for the French team in 2023 and returned for the 2024 Summer Split after a stint with FUT Esports in the TCL — even though he should have initially joined Papara Supermassive — during the Spring Split.
TakeSet is considered one of the top AD Carries in the French league. Despite this, he hasn’t managed to break the club’s long-standing curse since his arrival. Present in the LFL since its inception in 2019, Solary have never qualified for the EMEA Masters. Not even the expansion of the competition to six French teams in the last Summer Split was enough. Despite being in a highly favorable position to qualify for the European competition, a series of poor results and an entirely unfavorable scenario robbed the club of its breakthrough.
Solary eyes the title
TakeSet’s 2024 season with Solary isn’t quite over yet. The team remains active in the Coupe de France and has even reached the final, where they will face Vitality.Bee. Although the Coupe de France holds less prestige than the LFL, it could finally allow the squad to claim its first title on its League of Legends journey. As a reminder, in 2025, the team will be coached by Danny “Dan Dan” Comte, as the club announced last week.
