The Mexican organization is the result of a merger between Rainbow7 and Six Karma
With Disguised, Lyon Gaming (LG) is the second team to join the North American League of Legends championship and will thus debut the new format, the LTA North Conference. This Mexican organization was established last October through the merger of two former LLA clubs: Six Karma and Rainbow7. Rainbow7 was a historic powerhouse in the Latin American league, consistently playing a leading role. The team secured three of the last four LLA titles, finishing as runners-up in the fourth.
For the 2025 season, LG have retained two players from their two previous rosters, both from Rainbow7: jungler Sebastián “Oddie” Alonso and support Pedro Luis “Lyonz” Peralta. Oddie is a cornerstone of the team, having joined Rainbow7 in February 2021. Lyonz, meanwhile, enters his third year with the organization and has been a key part of R7’s dominance over the past two seasons. That's together that Oddie and Lyonz have therefore won nearly every accolade in the league since 2023.
Mix of youth and experience
Both players had shared all these successes with Lorenzo “Ceo” Tévez. Having arrived a few months before Oddie, the AD Carry will be leaving the club and will be replaced by Park “Hena” Jeung-hwan, according to Sheep Esports sources. Hena has spent the last four years in the LCK, the world’s most competitive league, playing for OK BRION and later FearX. However, the South Korean player struggled to shine, never finishing higher than sixth place across eight splits.
Hena isn’t the only South Korean player joining LG. On the midlane, LG have found an agreement with Kang “Saint” Sung-in, a promising 19-year-old who had a standout season in the LCK CL with Dplus Challengers. Saint was highly sought after by Tier 1 teams during the offseason, making his recruitment a notable achievement for Lyon Gaming.
Lastly, on the toplane, LG have opted for experience, bringing in Eric “Licorice” Ritchie, a veteran of the LCS NA. The Canadian toplaner’s only title dates back to Spring 2020 with Cloud9. He joins LG following a mixed split with Dignitas, a team that had assembled a highly experienced roster in a bid to claim its first-ever trophy.
