L1NK will replace Grubinho after reaching a deal with Koi in VCT.
Player Travis "L1NK" Mendoza has verbally agreed with Ucam to become their new Valorant team member in VCL Spain, sources told Sheep Esports on Thursday.
L1NK is a highly renowned player who has competed in very successful teams in the past, such as Acend and Team Liquid. With the latter, he qualified and achieved decent results in both Valorant Masters - Reykjavík in 2021 and 2022. Additionally, he secured a third-place finish in the Valorant Champions of 2021 and won the VCT - EMEA 2021 Stage 2 and Stage 3.
L1NK will take on the role of replacing Grubinho, a player that Koi recently acquired for a five-digit buyout. The transfer for Grubinho is reportedly close to be finiflized, with all parties reaching an agreement some time ago, as reported by Sheep Esports.
