Much to Prove
Serving as the last move of the North American off-season, Dignitas has now locked their full roster by bringing over support player Jonah "Isles" Rosario. Featuring rookies and some strong South Korean pillars, the team is set to enter the next competitive season as a potential dark horse in the LCS. While fan expectations may not be high for Dignitas, a lower rating may just prove to be the team's comfort zone and give its players room to impress.
Last seen in early 2022, Isles has been on a competitive hiatus ever since his tenure in Cloud9. First joining the organization's academic division in November of 2020, the player would see a fulgurant ascension through the LCS Academy league and proving grounds. Later on, he would be promoted in 2022 to compete on Cloud9's main roster along Kim "Winsome" Dong-keon. Unfortunately, the team would eventually decide on siding with the South Korean support and would lead to Isles leaving the team in May of that year.
Since then, Isles has been on the grind on the ranked ladder, even reaching a peak of 1855 LP in the North American region. Most known for his strong capacity to play engage supports such as Rakan, Nautilus, Alistar, or Rell, Isles is set to enter the league with a bang once more and prove himself among the best that the region has to offer.
This move will mark the player's first time pairing with 22-year-old American bot laner Frank "Tomo" Lam. While the two may not be names which resonate with fans, they should be seen as a potentially promising duo lane filled with potential despite lacking experience. In the past, Tomo competed with both Dignitas and FlyQuest, racking up good results in the academy league and some experience in the LCS.
