Dignitas and Head Coach Enatron will be parting ways for the summer split leaving Dignitas in search of a new Head Coach
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Dignitas and Head Coach Ilias "Enatron" Theodorou will be parting ways for the upcoming LCS summer split following a 5-6th place finish in the spring playoffs.
The Spring 2024 split
Throughout the recently concluded spring split, Dignitas had their moments of potential, but struggled with inconsistencies and communication in their games. While they managed to hold their ground and beat most of the lower-ranked teams, they were unable to secure victories against the other top-tier LCS teams, aside from a single bo1 victory against Team Liquid in the regular season. Dignitas were able to make the spring playoffs, however unfortunately losing to Team Liquid 0 - 3 in their first bo5 ending their spring split season.
The future of Dignitas
Dignitas heading into the offseason find themselves in the market for a new Head Coach. With a roster made out of both seasoned young and experienced players, Dignitas is likely looking for a coach capable of providing effective leadership and steering the team towards a more consistent and improved outcome for the 2024 LCS summer split.
Meanwhile, Enatron's future remains uncertain. However, it appears unlikely that he will secure a spot on another LCS roster for the summer split, given that most teams are content with their current coaching setups and are likely keeping them for the upcoming season.
