Canna made his debut with Karmine Corp for the 2024 LEC Summer Split
Kim "Canna" Chang-dong will pursue his journey with Karmine Corp for the 2025 LEC season. The French organization announced that they had activated the toplaner's contract extension clause this Wednesday while making many more announcements concerning their annual event KCX4 on Kamel "Kameto" Kebir's stream. The Korean import is the second confirmed player for the KC LEC 2025 roster, after Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis.
As a reminder, Canna already played with some of the greatest League of Legends players in the World, during his time in the LCK. The toplaner was a former T1 player from 2020 to 2021, alongside Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok. More recently, in 2023, he played with Heo "ShowMaker" Su and Kim "Canyon" Geon-bu at Dplus. After a six-month break in 2024, Canna joined Karmine Corp in the LEC and helped the team get back on track after their rough start in the EMEA elite league (10th place in both Winter and Spring splits).
With the Korean player, Karmine Corp dared to dream of a Season Finals qualification, as the team eventually fell short against Team BDS at the final step of their Summer Split run (2-3). If the result they were hoping for eluded them, KC's promise to raise the bar had been fulfilled and the Prestigious seem to want to stay on the same course with this extension.
