Sixteen teams will compete in the Last Chance Qualifier
The Summer Splits of the European Regional Leagues (ERLs) are still ongoing, but several teams have already secured their spots — at least in the Last Chance Qualifier, if not directly in the main stage. As of August 9, the start date for the EMEA Masters has yet to be announced, but the final date is set: November 2 at Paris Games Week. The choice has stirred controversy, as it falls on the same day as the semifinals of the 2025 World Championship, which will take place in China.
The event will kick off with a Last Chance Qualifier featuring 16 teams drawn into four single-elimination brackets, with Round 1 played as best-of-three and Round 2 as best-of-five, and the winner of each bracket advancing to the Main Event. The Main Event will feature a 32-team Swiss stage with seven rounds, where teams with four wins advance to the playoffs and those with four losses are eliminated; qualification and elimination matches will be best-of-three, while all others will be best-of-one. The tournament will conclude with single-elimination playoffs played entirely in best-of-five.
