DRX are currently 1-6, riding a six-game losing streak
Moon "Andil" Gwan-bin returns to DRX’s starting lineup after Son "Pleata" Min-woo played the last four series in LCK Round 1-2. DRX currently sit near the bottom of the standings with just one win, secured at the very start of the split against DN Freecs—the only team ranked below them. They are now on a six-game losing streak and face a tough challenge today against Gen.G.
a roster still struggling to find its footing
It’s clear that since their 2022 World Championship win, DRX have struggled to rebuild a roster capable of competing at the top. Veteran Lee "Rich" Jae-won currently holds the toplane; he hadn't played in the LCK since 2021 with Nongshim RedForce and has since spent time in the LPL with Victory Five and in the LCS with Dignitas. In the jungle, young Bae "Sponge" Young-jun was promoted from DRX Academy at the start of 2024 and is still adjusting to the LCK level despite strong showings in LCK CL. At midlane, Son "Ucal" Woo-hyeon returned to Korea after three years with ThunderTalk Gaming in the LPL; the midlaner famously won the LCK title in 2018 with KT Rolster.
The team also added another seasoned name in Park "Teddy" Jin-seong, who joined in 2023 to bring experience and leadership but has yet to find his peak form. At support, DRX have rotated between Andil and Pleata, two 22-year-olds, but neither has firmly secured the role. Overall, it's a roster still struggling to find its footing, and their current results reflect the ongoing instability.
