The First Stand will be cast in 17 different languages
Riot Games has announced that it will grant broadcast rights for the First Stand to around sixty League of Legends streamers, in addition to the official broadcasts produced by the editor. The competition will be available on streaming platforms in 17 different languages. First Stand will kick off on March 10 at 9 AM CET with Team Liquid facing Karmine Corp, followed by Hanwha Life Esports against Top Esports.
This open broadcast policy for co-streamers aims to reach more viewers and communities—and it’s clearly working. Viewership stats for the ERL and the LEC have significantly increased since Karmine Corp and figures like Kamel "Kameto" Kebir, Ibai "Ibai" Llanos, and Marc Robert "Caedrel" Lamont joined the ecosystem.
Many former pro players
While some argue that splitting viewership across multiple streamers is a downside, this approach at least ensures the competition is broadcast in more languages than the official casts could cover. The event will, for example, be available in Indonesian, Polish, Czech, and Greek.

The list includes a bit of everything—former pro players like Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng, Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski, Song "Smeb" Kyung-ho, and Huang "Maple" Yi-Tang; streamers who own a team like Kameto and Caedrel; as well as well-known figures in the scene like Christian "IWDominate" Rivera, Thomas "Zaboutine" Si-Hassen, and Nick "LS" De Cesare.
