The four best teams will qualify for Swiss Stage
With the LEC Spring Finals coming to a close and the League of Legends 2024 Worlds Championship on the horizon, Riot Games decided to draw the play-in bracket for the upcoming tournament right on the Season Finals Stage in Munich.
As a reminder, eight teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket: the 3rd seeds from the LEC (MAD Lions KOI) and LCS, the two best PCS teams (PSG Talon and Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS Gaming), two VCS teams (GAM Esports and Vikings Esports), one CBLOL team, and one LATAM team (Movistar R7).
In the first round, MAD Lions will face Vikings Esports, PSG Talon will face the CBLOL team, GAM Esports will face Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS Gaming and Rainbow 7 will face the third seed of the LCS.
Every matches will be played in best-of-three and the four best teams will qualify for Swiss Stage. They will join the qualifying four LCK's teams, the four LPL's teams and the first two seeds of the LEC (G2 Esports, Fnatic) and LCS at the Swiss Stage.
