Ambessa Medarda release today at 8pm CET
The League of Legends 14.22 Patch Notes is out. According to the official schedule provided by the game's developers, Patch 14.22 is set to be released on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. In addition to gameplay changes, this patch coincides with the release of Arcane Season 2 this weekend and introduces a range of cosmetics directly inspired by the series as well as Ambessa Medarda's Arrival on the Rift. With this patch, Riot Games is aiming to desync mid and side lane minion waves to boost mid-lane roams, buffs AD assassin items, and reworks Statikk Shiv and Yun Tal Wildarrows as impactful slot-1 AD Carry items. Here’s a comprehensive look at what to expect.
Buffs:
Blitzcrank, Briar, Fizz, Katarina, Kayle, Rumble, Swain, Varus, Vayne, Vel'Koz, Vi, Wu Kong
Nerfs:
Aatrox, Anivia, Corki, Illaoi, Jax, K'Sante, Lilia, Mordekaiser, Poppy, Seraphine, Shen, Sylas, Syndra, Udyr
Adjustments:
Irelia, Maokai, Warwick, Opportunity (Item), Statikk Shiv (Item), Youmuu's Ghostblade (Item), Yun Tal Wildarrows (Item), Barrier (Summoner's Spell), Smite Targeting (Summoner's Spell), Minion Speed and Bounty Visualization.
Riot's Reasoning behind these changes
Systems
- Bounty Tracking: Bounties now appear on the scoreboard after 100 gold (was 150).
- Side Lane Minions: Mid and side-lane minions now gradually desync over time, allowing midlaners more roaming opportunities.
