Rendez-vous on Scuttler’s Strand
On Aug 19, Riot Games confirmed the five arenas that will be available in 2XKO's upcoming beta. The game, set to release next year, is a tag fighter in the League of Legends universe, "Runeterra." Having recently announced Vi’s addition to the roster and the launch date for the closed beta, the North American publisher is now fine-tuning the details before making the game accessible to eager players starting September 9.
The Five Confirmed Arenas
- Annihilator’s Reach
The Noxus military camp seen in Arcane is Ambessa's base camp in the Riot Games animated series. Darius, one of the game's confirmed characters, is also from Noxus.

- Scuttler’s Strand
A dark sand beach that is likely located within the Serpent Isles, near Bilgewater. Illaoi originates from this location in the LoL lore.

- The Brazen Hydra
A lively bar in Bilgewater where players can immerse themselves in the pirate atmosphere.

- Spirit Hills
An enchanting landscape in the Ionia region, located in the northeast of Noxus, notably where Ahri and Yasuo originate from in the LoL lore.

- Bridge of Progress
A symbol of the connection between Piltover and Zaun, the Bridge of Progress is a character in its own right in Arcane, with its own significance and the battles that take place there. Vi, Jinx, and Ekko are all from Zaun in the lore.

A Highly Anticipated Milestone
These arenas — most of which were already available in the previous alpha testing phase — further expand the game's content.at currently features eight champions, out of the ten that Riot Games plans to have available at launch. The closed beta for 2XKO will begin on September 9, 2025, on PC, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions set to follow later on. Players who have already taken part in previous test phases will gain automatic access, while newcomers can register now on the official website for a chance to secure their spot.
